Today’s Announcements:

  • Eureka College will have a rep in the commons during advisory TODAY. 
  • Any Senior student who did not receive a graduation packet from Jostens- Please see Mrs. Ott in the office to pick on up.
  • Seniors- Jostens will be at Olympia on Wednesday, September 27th during advisory and lunch to receive your graduation package orders.  Please bring your completed forms along with $60 deposit. 

    Sophomores still wishing to order your class rings may do so on Wednesday!

  • University of Missouri (Mizzou) will have a representative here on Thursday, October 5 at 2:00 pm in the College Room - NOT during lunch/advisory. If you would like to schedule a visit to meet with the representative, please come see Mrs. Blessing in the counselor's office.
  • Hey Spartans! Homecoming week is coming up and that includes the Parade of Champions! If you are in a fall activity, please make sure your coach is emailing Mrs. Cooper about how your season is going, so we can share it with the school! Also, don't forget that you will be recognized at a homecoming assembly for all of your accomplishments, so make sure you're there!
  • Do you want to contribute to your class's success during homecoming week? If your answer is yes, talk to your class sponsor to get involved with decorating your hallway!
  • Get your classes ready for Homecomings team relays! This years events include the mixed relay with the egg balance, three-legged race, soda chug, peanut butter school song, and frozen t-shirt and the track relay with basketball dribbling, crab walking, cartwheeling, jump roping and a chair push. For more information, talk to your class sponsor.
  • Attention all Olympia Advisories. It is time to start thinking up ideas and putting together your door decorations for this year’s advisory door decorating contest. Doors must be done by the end of advisory on Tuesday, October 3rd.  Remember the door decorating contest winners will earn points for their class in the Homecoming Spirit Tally. Good luck!
  • Chess club will meet Wednesday 9-27 in the Library from 3:20-5:30.  Be sure to register chess as one of your activities.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Hieronymus.
  • The next scholastic bowl announcement will be on 10-5 in Mr. Haak's room, B-10.  We will meet from 3:20 to 5:30 p.m.  Remember to register for scholastic bowl online.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Hieronymus or Mrs. Biswell.
  • Attention Spartans! The Blue Crew is selling tshirts straight outta Spartan Nation. Check your Olympia email for an order form, or come down to Kirby or Pitcher's classroom and pick one up there. Orders will be accepted through next Friday, October 6th. 
  • Hey students,  Mrs. Biswell has a lot of problems – math problems that is!  Olympia is starting our very first math team and we want you to be a part of it!  See Mrs. Biswell for details.
