  • Student Bank Board:  Will be meeting today.  Please see Mrs. Schroeder if you will not be attending.

  • All Freshman:   Your FUNDRAISER Order Forms and Money are due today!  Please turn these in to your advisor or Mrs. Bowers.  If you have forgotten your form, please turn them in tomorrow. 

  • Attention Seniors: Please mark the date of April 5th on your calendar as a College/Career readiness day. All 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will be testing, and all seniors are not to come to school that day – your attendance will be waived.

  • At long last....The March edition of the Torch is going on sale!  It will only be on sale Wednesday and Thursday for only $1.  See any Torch staff member to buy yours today!

  • Attention FFA members:  If you are interested in being a FFA Officer next year, please pick up an application in the high school office or see Mr. Hoffman.  Applications are due this Friday, March 24th.

  • National Honor Society applications for the 2017-18 school year are due by no later than 3:15 p.m. on March 24th. No late applications will be accepted. If you have any questions about the NHS application or need to submit it, please see Mrs. Hapgood or Mrs. Steve.

  • ** All Junior BACC students are required to stay at OHS this Friday after 1st lunch to complete SAT bubbling in the library.  If you have questions please see Mr. Hurley as soon as possible.

  • The nearby Washburn Community was severely damaged by an F3 tornado that swept through the town at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, February 28. The Olympia NHS is sponsoring a supply drive for the community—teachers have a list of needed supplies. NHS is asking for students and teachers to collect needed supplies for Washburn. Donations may be collected in student advisories or brought to room B5. The NHS students will deliver donations to the Washburn American Legion. Questions may be directed to Mrs. Hapgood or Mrs. Steve.

     

Guidance Announcements:

  • This evening the Counseling Office will be hosting College Family Night at 6:30 pm in the auditorium. We will have admission counselors from over 10 Illinois universities in attendance, including EIU, Western, University of Illinois Chicago, and SIUC. All students and parents are encouraged to attend.

  • MacMurray College will be visiting today during lunch.
