Andy Davis, Olympia’s star shortstop, has committed to further his education and baseball career at Lincoln Land. He is very excited for this opportunity.

“This is a blessing to be able to further my career here. I plan to do big things at this college, both educationally and athletically,” he said.

Andy is joining another former Olympia baseball star at Lincoln Land, Clay Bachman. Andy claims that he and Clay are “going to hit a lot of dingers.”

Andy is undecided on his major, but he plans to decide very soon. He does know for sure though that he is playing baseball no matter what.

This offseason has been very important to Andy as he is constantly fielding baseballs and practicing pitching because Andy claims he could split time as a starting pitcher at Lincoln Land.

“I have been grinding this whole offseason, trust trying to better my game each and every day,” he said.

This spring kicks off Andy’s senior season at Olympia for baseball. Andy claims he can play every position on the field, but focuses on SS and SP.

As you can tell, Andy is a very determined athlete and in the classroom is no different. “Come to Springfield to watch me play,” Andy said.  Good luck!
