ILMEA Auditions

ILMEA Auditions
Junior High singers, 7-8
High School singers, 9-12

Students looking to further enrich their musical experience are encouraged to audition for ILMEA (Illinois Music Education Association) All-State. This is a requirement for all singers involved in Chamber Choir.
All the music should be learned and prepared on the day of the audition. Audition selections are chosen that morning - so students will not know what they will be singing until they arrive - a truly demanding process!
Upon successful audition, select students will have the opportunity to perform with others in Illinois District 3! This event is typically held at Olivet Nazarene University.

Sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible to be selected to participate in the All-State or Honors Choir in January at the annual Illinois Music Educators Conference in Peoria, IL!
